11. RECOMMENDATIONS Carrying on expanding further with R&D is not enough for Huawei. Therefore, as a lesson from Nokia downfall, Huawei should continue seeking to satisfy and generate future consumer requirements other than only their current needs. Huawei sells its Mate 10 Pro in US at a price of around $799 from Amazon .However the company should consider lowering the price in order to effectively within the region. This is because majority might not prefer to purchase the phone at such a price due to availability of other cheaper alternatives from Samsung, Google and even Apple owing to the fact these alternative devices have similar features as the ones within the Mate 10 Pro. Again, Huawei shouldn’t focus only partner with carriers and please the government of US, but it need to market a device that US population want to purchase. In order to compete effectively and successfully surpass Samsung within US and other regions, Huawei needs to conduct a comprehensive brand audit. Its management should uncover the most important factors that drive growth in the region and analyze how its products and services are viewed by the US consumers. Already Huawei have overtaken Apple in US and aims to overtake Samsung by 2020.However the company ambitions are being impended by the U.S and China trade war. In order to overcome this challenge, the company should take advantage of its 20% of worldwide telecom spending to venture the US market despite the trade war barriers. On the other hand, the company should also consider exploring other mobile phone markets not only US. It should switch its mid-tier smartphone approach to bring numerous innovative features to the company’s lower-priced phones, a strategy that would assist it minimize the Huawei threat in US. The company needs to make a sensible effort towards providing extensive worldwide and diverse experience within the managerial ranks. The managerial ranks should include more Western executives who will diversify the company’s senior management level.

Effective senior management team comprised of western executives would significantly higher its success in US and other foreign markets. 12. CONCLUSION In conclusion, most of Huawei success has originated from its accurate and well selected entry strategy to new markets and expansion of the company globally. The company’s strategic decision, practices and policies in order to identify and analyze advantages to leaped if they utilize diverse entry modes of penetrating precise markets with a massive portfolio of their services and products result to the rapid growth and development of the enterprise. It is crucial to mention that Huawei smartphones has gained value addition because of its innovative pace and the healthy partnership with LEICA camera. In addition value addition also originates form the company’s relentless technological effort to improve the camera of its smartphones. Despite the company facing various challenges and difficulties especially the US case, the most crucial factors to address the challenges would be a constant analysis of the operating environment. Also the company should consider comprehensive knowledge of the sector and industry. This will undoubtedly enhance their policies and practices as well as help to address their situation.
