Sometimes maladjustment is caused by the disorder that has been diagnosed by the DSM-5 model and prevents them from adjusting psychologically, this will influence employees work behaviours. Even though the DSM-5 is widely criticised against its reliability and validity and its ways of describing and classifying disorders, no other system can replaced it, and it provides a very useful and functional technique for scientific research, for academic and practising psychologists and for coherent communication about psychological disorders (Bergh & Theron 2006) It is important to note that not all of the research or classifications are built into one model, therefore if you only look at one model/example there might be a shortcoming in your observations or diagnosis, therefore we should consult multiple classification models to ensure that the wellbeing of the employees within the organisation are looked at, diagnosed and treated in the correct manner. Classification systems will continually change over time as the world and our environment landscapes keep changing, research can educate and inform us on how to keep improving diagnosis, adjustment and maladjustments of wellbeing of our employees and organisations.

This will get easier once I get feedback on my assignment and identify where I can improve, I will use this feedback going forward across all modules to ensure I do my best and learn from my mistakes. 6.Yes 8.References Bergh, Z., & Geldenhuys, D.
