THE BARRIERS OF COMMUNICATION Different barriers of communication cause the situation between Mr. Tapiador and Mr. Monsod. These factors impede the efficient flow of communication. Certain measures must be done to eliminate these barriers.

PERSONAL BARRIERS Mr. Tapiador is probably upset because NCC sent no reply to their orders. He stated that he deemed it wise to deal with another company because of this situation. If personal barriers are created, communicating it non-verbally may prevent the message from being relayed. It is suggested to approach personal barriers through personal communication. Emotions may serve as a way to provide the real meaning of their messages as sincerity may be felt through it . NCC must remember that they are trying to gain back their favor thus, they must not do any actions that only deteriorate their partnership. PHYSICAL BARRIERS Physical barriers such as interferences to communication occurring in the environment must be considered. Written messages may not be sent to the correct address or be delayed due to unnecessary circumstances. Electronic mail may also fail due to server overload. NCC must work upon securing the safety of their messages to assure that it will be relayed effectively to the other party. SEMANTIC BARRIERS Any wrong meanings deduced from their messages may completely destroy their purpose. It is essential that both parties understand everything encoded as any misunderstanding constitutes a barrier to communication. Proper word utilization and accuracy in records (if they will include a business proposal to persuade interest in partnership) must be guaranteed before transmitting.
