Fill the beaker half full of water and set the dip cup in it. 12. Place the beaker on hot plate until the thermometer reads constant temperature of 100 . Temperature of Hot Shot: 100 13. After the temperature is at constant, take out the dip cup from beaker and add the shot to inner calorimeter. 14. Stir the shot by the thermometer and record the highest temperature reached. Final Temperature of Mixture: 26 15. Look up the specific heat capacity of the shot for aluminum.
