information and accessible from various departments for consultations? What kind of data element edit checks are in place to catch on going errors? Is the EHR system providing accurate reporting? When was the last EHR system update, perhaps it’s time for an upgrade? Is there cross walking functionality from ICD-9 to ICD-10 codes that the billing and coding staff is not executing? Perhaps host EHR trainings for the physicians and staff members. I would strongly suggest that measurements be put in place to ensure that the corrective actions are being tracked and are compliant. I would also suggest ongoing training in policy and compliancy for both the physicians and staff members. Lastly, in order to make a true impact on the physicians and staff members, I would clearly point out the amount of rejections and denials on weekly, monthly, and quarterly bases, as well as the corresponding dollar amount associated to that lost revenue. I would chart the percentages for each department and make a quarterly goal for each department to bring down high rejection and denial rates and increase the revenue stream for the clinic over-all.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
