The cache size of policy violations parameter

This preview shows page 424 - 426 out of 512 pages.

The Cache size of Policy violations parameter determines how many violated policies can be stored in the cache. Based on the presence of the ROW_ID and RULE_ID in the map or cache, the cache determines whether or not an action is already initiated. The Workflow Monitor checks the S_ESCL_LOG table for policy violations for the same BT_ROW_ID and RULE_ID. 100 DeleteSize Request delete size Defines the number of records to commit at a time. The minimum is 1. If Workflow Monitor encounters a deadlock, then you can reduce the default from 500 to 125 with minimal performance degradation. To avoid a call stack error, do not set Request delete size to zero. 500 GenReqRetry Number of seconds to retry Defines the number of seconds to retry sending a Generic Request message. 120 GroupName Group Name Required. Defines the workflow policy group on which Monitor Agent works. Not applicable Table 68. By default, the Workflow Monitor Agent and Workflow Action Agent do not ignore errors that occur while processing the requests. If Ignore errors is set to TRUE, and if an error is encountered, then the agent logs the error, deletes the request, and then continues working. If Ignore errors is set to FALSE, then the agent exits on an error and sends an email message to the mail ID that is defined in the argument of the Mailing Address. If Ignore errors is set to TRUE, then valid errors are ignored. If Ignore errors is set to FALSE, then the agent stops and exits with the error. NOTE: It is recommended that you set Ignore errors to FALSE so that valid errors are not ignored. FALSE KeepLogDays Number of days to keep violation information Defines the number of days of violation information that are retained in the log. Log information that is older than the value in Number of days to keep violation information is automatically removed. This value can be set to 0 to prevent the purging of this log information. For more information, see “KeepLogDays Parameter and Workflow Monitor Agent” on page 428 . 30 LastUsrCacheSz Cache size of last user information Defines the number of last user information items to cache. If executing actions, then the information about the last user to modify the row of the base table is available as a token substitution in the program arguments. By caching this information in the server, the throughput performance of executing actions can potentially increase. 100 MailServer Mail Server Defines the name of the email server to send notification of abnormal termination.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
