SDG 14: Life Below Water By correctly disposing e-waste and preventing dumping in seas and rivers, ensures life below the water. SDG 15: Life on Land Correct disposal of e-waste prevents the product being used for incineration processes, thereby avoiding contamination of water, air, land and the life of terrestrial ecosystems. Conclusion Increasing levels of e-waste, in addition to improper and unsafe treatment and disposal, pose significant challenges for the environment and human health. Studies shown e-waste is increasing fast mainly due to changes in technology, shorter life of EEE and changes in the consumptions style. Furthermore, there as several challenges on the global e-waste management, such as, WEEE are challenging to recycle, EEE are quickly obsolete and discarded, only a few countries in the world collect statistics on e-waste. Even in regions with e-waste regulation in place, there a some difficult to ensure the regulations have been followed, due to the low level of information and weak control systems. However, the CSR is an active player to improve the e-waste landscape as it can lead actions in private organisations to remedy the failures of national regulations. CSR is also responsible for implementing a new business management model that respects the planet and to use them properly e-waste management in support of the SDGs achievement.
