can start rebuilding his team.
Team building is where the members of a work group examine
such things as their goals and culture to improve their ability to work together effectively and
efficiently. (Brown, 2011, pg. 262)
Gene should start with the team development process that is
widely used in the OD process.
He can do so with a six step process:
1)
Initiate the team
development meeting, 2)
Setting objectives, 3) Collecting data, 4) Planning the meeting, 5)
Planning the meeting, and 6) Evaluating the team development process.
By doing so the team
can be more effective, a better team and a better organization.
