Common Security Threats for Lync Server 2010 Identifies common security threats and briefly describes how Lync Server addresses each threat. Security Framework for Lync Server 2010 Discusses the fundamental concepts and technologies that form the security infrastructure that is built into Lync Server 2010. These include Active Directory Domain Services, public key infrastructure, and protocols that are used for encryption and authentication. Addressing Threats to Your Core Infrastructure for Lync Server 2010 Recommends measures and best practices for improving the security of your Lync Server internal network infrastructure. Addressing Threats at Your Internet Boundary for Lync Server 2010 Describes how the Edge Servers and perimeter network infrastructure of your Lync Server 2010 deployment allow internal and external users to safely engage in IM, conferencing, and audio/video communications across the network firewall. Addressing Threats to On-Premises Conferences for Lync Server 2010 Describes features and requirements that enhance conference security beyond the base levels already provided by the Lync Server security framework and infrastructure. Addressing Threats to Group Chat Describes features and requirements that enhance security for the Group Chat Server and Compliance Server database beyond the base security already implemented in Lync Server 2010.
