As I mentioned before I considered this experience a real challenge because it tested not just
my knowledge but my ethical values and my abilities to work with clients and classmates.
One thing I like about this great experience is the people I worked with (the tutors) and my
classmates.
I really had fun. I would like to thank Monica, Keeling and Nathalie for their
dedication,
friendship and patience with us because they encouraged me to put forth my best
effort and dedication and all the staff at the Vita for their thrust and dedication.
In conclusion, looking back at my experiences I realized that I learned a lot not just to do
taxes but to deal with people with different personalities. To be a good accountant and do
people’s taxes requires not just knowledge of the tax code but also how to deal with different
people and their personalities.
Since many people do not understand how taxes work, it is
important to establish trust with them and make them feel comfortable. There are two sides to
this job, a classroom side and a ‘real world’ side and since we are dealing with people and their
money, people can be emotional.
It is just as important in understanding the human side of the
business in addition to understanding the tax code and that is the most important thing I

learned from this class.
