The last tribe are the Swedes, another tribe that is still here today. The Swedes have been here since the beginning of the Ice Age. A lot of the Swedes had been broken up into smaller tribes such as the Goths, Heruli, etc. Most tribes did come from Sweden, and had migrated out from the Swedes. Ongentheow is believed to be a real person, as he had been describe vaguely in one poem, and vividly in another poem. Although Ongentheow was killed by the Geats, he had lived a long life before dying. While these two kings have their importance, so does their location. Sweden had been the birth of many other tribes, showing how powerful the area was. Many of the tribes have gotten together becoming Scandinavians. The Swedes had been the origin of many other tribes that had been in Europe. The three main tribes that were talked about in Beowulf are the Geats, the Danes and the Swedes. The Geats had many powerful leaders, yet they had merged into other tribes to make bigger tribes. The Danes still are in Denmark with their unknown leaders temple that hold many stories. The Swedes had been the birthplace of many tribes that had migrated to other parts of Europe. There are many figures in history that made Beowulf happen.
