in the section in my paper about the ethic of using human waste as fertilizer. I plan to talk about the pros and cons of human waste as fertilizer. Haraldsen, T. K., Andersen, U., Krogstad, T., & Sørheim, R. (2011). Liquid digestate from anaerobic treatment of source-separated household waste as fertilizer to barley . Waste Management & Research, 29(12), 1271-1276. This study examined the efficiency of different organic waste materials as NPK fertilizer on barley. The experiment was conducted in a pot trial. Six organic fertilizers were evaluated: liquid anaerobic digestate (LAD), nitrified liquid anaerobic digestate (NLAD), meat and bone meal (MBM), hydrolysed salmon protein (HSP), reactor-composted catering waste (CW) and cattle manure (CM). An unfertilized control, calcium nitrate (CN) and Fullgjødsel® 21-4-10 were used as reference fertilizers. The results show that both LAD and Fullgjødsel gave the highest yield of barley. it was concluded that LAD can be recommended as fertilizer for cereals.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
