7. In the morning of 8 April 2005, Mr Jackson told Greg to install some windows on the second storey of the house. Later that morning, as Greg was attempting to put in one of the windows from a position on the scaffolding, the glass slipped from the frame. Greg moved backwards to avoid the window pane, but overbalanced and stepped off the scaffolding, falling 5 metres to the ground. He landed heavily, breaking his arm and wrist, and fracturing several vertebrae in his lower back. 8. Greg was rushed to a private hospital, where he immediately underwent surgery to stabilise his injuries. After the operation, Greg was required to remain in hospital for 8 days. To make matters worse, on 15 April 2005, while he was recuperating in hospital, Greg received a notice of dismissal from Acme Builders. Enclosed with the notice of dismissal was a cheque for his wages up to and including the 8 April 2005. The notice stated that the cheque was in full and final payment of any amounts owing to him by Acme Builders.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
