An external stakeholder is not directly involved with internal affairs of the company, and they tend to have the varying ability in ensuring the organization effectively meets its objectives (Bellantuono, Pontrandolfo, & Scozzi, 2016). On the hand, internal stakeholders are intimately linked to the organization operations. In the paper, the analysis of both internal and external stakeholders of coca-cola will be analyzed critically to deuce their importance to the organization prowess. Background Information Coca-Cola is one of the most world's leading soft drink makers and carries out its operations in more than 200 countries around the globe. The company sells still and sparkling beverages. Eighty percent of the operating costs and 60 percent of the revenue for the company is generated outside the United States. First, the company started as the medicine company in the late 19 th century by Pemberton Stith John, and it was promoted by Asa Griggs Candler who developed marketing tactics that resulted in coca-cola gaining market dominance in the whole of the 20 th century (Serôdio, McKee, & Stuckler, 2018). The drinks may refer back to the original ingredient that was used: kola nuts and coca leaves, which are the sources of caffeine. The current coca-cola formula is still a trademark secret. Coca-Cola Company produces soft drink concentrate, which is then sold to the coca-cola bottler that is licensed all over the world. Coca-Cola ranked is ranked number eight seven in the 2018 fortune 500 lists among the largest united state corporation as per the total revenue gained. The company mission is enduring, whereby the company is committed to refreshing the world, inspire happiness and moments of optimism, make a difference, and create value to its stakeholders. Coca-Cola operations, the company, have outsourced the franchise, FEMSA which are the bottling operators for production of the soft drinks. The bottling entity helps the company in capturing any growth opportunities in the carbonated segment that are not developed and in a strategic acquisition. Functional Areas The main functional areas of the coca-cola company are production, human resources administration, finance, marketing, and research and development. Research Development Most of the coca-cola products are positioned and targeted similarly. Some of the products produced by the company are portrayed as unhealthy. There are groups of customer who have not been satisfied with company products. The company, due to the market concerns, it is forced to diversify its product portfolio further by developing and manufacturing healthier products.
