Something about the fear of the unknown and large animals that can swim faster than I always made me nervous. Plus, as a horror movie enthusiast, I had seen way too may shark attacks to even consider participating in the water activities at first. 3) I was able to get over the culture shock of swimming with seemingly wild and dangerous animals after experiencing it first hand. It was like going on your first roller coaster, where you just have to get the first part over with and then you are no longer scared. Like a bee, the sting ray wouldn’t sting you unless you messed with it first. It was also easy to see why the bartender had offered me a drink. They are there to make profit and no authorities were around to object. I have noticed that many hotels are in much more relaxed settings than the real world.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
