To 2009, the ranking number 1 customer, market share drop to 6 th by competitors challenge and missing the timing to catch up Smart Phone area, which impact sales margin worst to this company and then Joyce announce to left this company with her husband suffering cancer, in July 2009. 3
And due to no succession planning, this company took 3month to recruit successor who has capability to catch up market became to challenge as they are missing to create potential customer in the past 4years. Analysis: In this case, Joyce shows a bad module by losing the core guidelines of leadership: 1. Lead by example 2. Take responsibility 3. Succession Planning 4. Feedback 5. Create a Culture 6. Choose the Right Yardstick Joyce is a very bad leader for that case of leading change model. She is not willing to understand employee experience and fit to right position with their strength. She didn’t apply the culture spirit to create a passion environment for employee, but broken the trust between employee and management, in the opposite. Moreover, Joyce treat employee like tools to apply them to serve customer with entertainment but not professional connotation. I think all the leader must identify himself with specific standard, no matter in moral or mind. Always comprehended customer needed as well as employee career achievement. Reference List ： 1.
