Did the frequency of the bb individuals decrease with successive generations? Why or why not? Yes the frequency of the bb individuals did decrease because these individuals could not reproduce therefore they couldn't pass down their alleles. Was the decrease in the frequency of bb individuals between successive generations always the same? Why or why not?
Technically, the red allele can be eliminated it would just take many generations. Most naturally occurring selective pressures do not eliminate reproduction by th individuals. Instead, their reproductive capacity is reduced by a small proportio results differ if there was only 20% negative selection pressure rather then 100
I don't think my results would vary that much. It would just take a much longer time for the red alleles to ever be eliminated. After time though, the bb frequency would still be decreasing.
