NURSING ARTICLE CRITIQUE demographics were basic background details of participants such as: age, gender, marital status, professional qualifications, number of years working in that unit, and health background such as BMI and smoking status. For Demographic statistics; 44% were males while 56% were females in the ER and 17% were males while 84% were females in CC the units, 63% were married in ER and 75% were married in CC, 65% had a professional diplomas and certificate in ER while 85% had a professional diplomas and certificate in CC, 88% of all participants were Non- smokers, 79% of ER nurses denied health problems and 81% nurses denied health problems (Rahman et al., 2017). Research Design and Sample The research design was a correlational cross sectional study that had a longitudinal aspect in that it evaluated people for 6 months. No mention of a pilot study was performed. There were 178 total nurses that met the inclusion criteria for this study. 138 ER nurses and 140 CC nurses were evaluated via a questionnaire with a total of 201 questionnaires utilized for the analysis that consisted of 100 from ER nurses and 101 from CC nurses. The parameters for inclusion criteria for the sample population were nurses in the ER and CC units who were willing to complete and submit the questionnaires and consent to the research study. The sampling criteria was explained. Participants were kept anonymous and primarily in their 30’s and most had a certificate or multiple diploma’s. Each nursing manager from each unit was contacted by the researchers and helped to coordinate the distribution of questionnaires and distributed 278 questionnaires at random to nurses to ensure a random selection process. Completed and returned questionnaires indicated implied consent also a signed consent form had an assigned number as the same as their assigned number on the questionnaire to recognize any withdrawals since names were not used. The joint ethics committee of Institute of Health Sciences and Ministry of Health approved this study. Participation from the sample was Page 5 of 10

Data Collection, Measurement, Methods, and Instruments The multi questionnaires used were constructed by the researchers. They utilized three tested and approved questionnaires for standardizing the participant’s answers. These were the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire version 2, the Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery Scale, and the Cornell Musculoskeletal Discomfort Questionnaire. These questionnaires have already been tested as deemed as reliable instruments of analysis, however the researchers did not discuss their reliability and validity. Once the participants were given
