UNIT V Essay 3 should be hardened into the organization’s practice and kept up as the way they conduct their everyday operations (Al-Haddad & Kotnour, 2015). John Kotter, a professor at the Harvard Business School presented another model of change. His model was built on an eight step process of change that encompassed generating a sense of urgency, creating authoritative guiding partnerships, creating a vision and a strategy, shared the vision, eliminating problems and empowering the workforce for action, producing short-range wins, consolidating advances and solidifying transformation by securing change in the organization (Al-Haddad & Kotnour, 2015). In Kotter’s model of change, it’s apparent that process is a simple controlled model. It steps are clear and constitutes which guides it along. The importance is to get the workforce ready to accept the change and not on the actual things that’re changing. The transformation
