Coming from a low-income family many of the struggles they endured are things I can look back upon, like the shared bathrooms, and having too many people living in the same household. The price of tuition and room and board are of higher value of my family’s income. Although the changes are not as drastic the overall quality of the essay has improved with more powerful content and less fluff. In essay # 1 there was a lot to work with. The drastic differences between this essay and the original come directly from the usage of stories. The Company of the Wolves accompanied the theme in which the essay was directed, since there was a new story in place the essay needed some serious recreation. All the themes of the previous essay were revised and formatted to fit

the theme of gender roles being perceived differently than the norms. Minor corrections in sentence structure and grammar were made all around the essay. I struggled with the unification of similar themes within the stories, some parts are jumpy but I couldn’t exactly find a way to smoothen out certain edges, however overall the ideas stay relevant to the topic.
