The men can be seen cheering as countless amounts of German Soldier walk by with their hands at their sides, utterly defeated. The Soviets moral has been boosted now that the fighting has stopped. The city lies in ruin, however Stalingrad has been liberated of Germany’s Sixth army today. The crushing defeat to Hitler army can come to no surprise given the short supply of food and ammunition found within their camp. Through only a slight bit of outnumbering, the Russians have managed to turn this battle using sheer grit and determination. It is rumored that Hitler is staging his Soldiers for a massive counteroffensive from the Red Army. With the defeat of Field Marshall Paulus at Stalingrad, the Soviets are poised to push onward into the West.
