Simply because there maybe other factors to consider based on location and area. There may be a reason one county has almost double the amount of deaths compared to the other. 11. What is the cancer cause-specific crude mortality rate for in Charlotte county and Leon county in 2010? Total rate is 320.3 12. What is the incidence rate for all types of cancers for both counties and what are the incidence rates for all four types of cancer? 2,213 are the total for all types of cancers. Lung was at 333 for both counties. Colorectal is at 189. Breast is at 279 and Prostate is at 351 putting a grand total of 1,152 for just the four types of cancer. 13. What are the cancer incidence rates for Charlotte and Leon Counties? Total is 570.3 14. What are the leading causes of death for Charlotte and Leon counties? Smoking 15. What are the leading causes of cancer death? After reading and online research, I found on NBC news health a poll of top causes. The top 3 are as follows, lung and bronchial, colon and rectal, and Breast. (mcnb) 16. What is the cancer mortality rate in the United States? Studies show that the rate has actually decreased over the last couple decades. The results from The National Cancer society show the rate dropped another 1.7% giving a total of 26% decrease since 1991. (National Cancer Society) 17. What types of cancer do Americans die most of most often? How does this compare to Charlotte and Leon counties?
