SPORTS MANAGEMENT #7 3 As Jarmain points out, competitiveness, strong academic background, salaries, and economic status have significant impacts on the growth of jobs in the sports industry. I agree that if the state has a functional economic situation, funding of the sport based organization. The financial crisis has been a significant threat to managing games. Therefore, with functional economic status, management tends to be easy. Possession of a strong educational background offers sufficient skills to manage sport-based activities ( Sung, 2015) . The competitive industry is a negative impact because it allows struggling of the available resources. Thus, making it challenging to execute tasks in the sports industry’s Short Interview I am going to carry out a face to face interview with a high school athletic director, J.N. The rationale behind the selection of this post is because of my great interest in wanting to know what athletic entails. Even though I was aware of the associated responsibilities, I was contented that there is crucial information that I am missing. The reputation of athletics at school level and the success that he has recorded with his team makes him a better option to be engaged in this interview whose primary theme is athletics. J.N is an expert in this field having practiced for more than two decades and published high profile research journals accounted to athletics. When I asked J.N of his official job title and job responsibilities, he said that “My official title is Head Athletic Director of Cox Mill High School.” (J.N personal communication, August 14, 2019) He further stated his job responsibilities which include management of athletic
