Some are explicit in that they are apparent to each member as they are based on commonsense. Then there are some are norms that are implicit and require some degree of deduction or understanding. Group norms provide a sense of unity, responsibility, obligation, and safety. In the end, individual difference theory proved to be in existence within the group. The theory has it that every human is a different entity, and no two humans behave alike. It suggests that individual responds to communication differently because individual differs base on biological makeup, family background, religious upbringing, education, personal experience, gender, social, political, economic, cultural and environmental factors ( Lourdunathan & Menon 2017). I t was also noted that Speaking and Listening are two sides of the same coin. Both form an integral part of the process of communication. Communication involves speaking and listening simultaneously. However, there is a fine distinction between the two processes of speaking and listening.
