In Your Opinion, does this History matter to you? The history of the great depression is critical to me in a personal approach. As it is said, History is vital for future development. It reminds one of the struggles people went through in attempts to achieve freedom. The depression involved a lot of suffering for people who existed in Canada at that time. These struggles range from desires to achieve better economic conditions, political well-being as well as the rescue of the country from capitalism. Additionally, the battle aimed at making Canada a better place of residence of all people from different political, economic and social divides. That is the fight against inequality, social stratification, poor leadership as well as against racism. Information about such history is essential as is primarily

DEPRESSION 7 contributes to self-development and fulfillment. In the past, I am made to accept the role of struggle movements in any given country as the struggles main objectives usually is in the best of interest of the average citizen. Consequently, the past enables me to appreciate the current economic and political hitches will are likely to exist due to different factors. In this approach, I will be better served with survival techniques in case the history repeats itself. As an international student in Canada, the past is vital. Through the acquisition of knowledge about the past, the international student will understand the road to freedom in Canada. It is during this struggle that Canada regained itself from Capitalism. Again, during this period, racism and social and economic equality was buried and therefore, the start of freedom for studies and interaction for international students. Otherwise, were it not for the great depression, Canada would be a no-go zone for the international scholars. Therefore, since this history is responsible for the protection of my current freedom in the country, it is important to be acquainted with the knowledge. References
