Supresses the cough signal at the level of the brain -this is why it can be toxic for small animals (dogs), they can't be metabolizing theobromine so it builds it up and can be deadly Heart Disease: -can be some benefits -chocolate is high in fat, bitter is HIGHEST in fat (bad news)
