atmosphere of the movie more immersive and realistic, and add to the ability to experience everything that is being portrayed. 5. The major events that effect the culture, political, and social events in the movie are the events of World War II. Soldiers are roaming all throughout Casablanca from beginning to end. The German’s hold a lot of control over Morocco and the fear that strikes in people as well as the strain that puts on the characters freedoms adds to the intensity of the movie. I think this was included into the plot because at the time the movie was made it was at the height of the war and so it was easy for people to identify with the characters. 6. In staging the final scene at the airport, I would make sure that the background and props such as the airplane will be very low-lit. But I will also use back lighting to highlight the importance of Rick and Isla. I would focus the lighting mainly on Isla, but as Rick prepares to let Isla go, I would brighten his light to show the major character development he has made in sacrificing Isla and his love for her.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
