has gotten me into a lot of problems even until this day, but I still haven’t changed…much. I don’t know exactly when I became friends with her, but by eighth grade this one girl and I had become pretty close friends. I would always do what she asked of me because I thought that’s what friends were supposed to do. Growing up, predominantly all of my friends have been and still are male, they are just who I get along with better. The summer after eighth grade I introduced my friend to one of my friends Kevin. Had I known the type of person she was or what would ensue from this introduction I would have just left well enough alone. She and Kevin began to date. They when out for about four weeks and then they had broken up. I honestly couldn’t tell you why they broke up after such a short time, it was so long ago. The only reason I can think of now was because they were young and didn’t know what a relationship was, but I digress. Sometime during this summer Kevin had introduced my friend to his friend John and later on best friend Justin. Well after Kevin and my friend broke up, she began to talk to his friend John. That relationship lasted as long as it took for us to all meet up at the movies and for her to pick Kevin over John. John left the movies pissed off. I tried to tell her that this was wrong and she shouldn’t have played with their emotions like this, but she didn’t pay it any mind. Still, I was her friend so that’s what I continued to be. When the school year started, Kevin had (by this time) introduced us to his best friend Justin. Also, during this time, a girl named Felicia had introduced my friend to one of her friends; another guy named John. After some time, I had told my friend that I was really starting to like Justin. She was happy for me, but little did I know she was just a liar and manipulator. She and Kevin had begun dating again, but she was also talking to the guy John that her other friend Felicia had introduced her too. So by now my friend was basically talking to two guys, but still wasn’t satisfied. I would tell my friend all about how I liked Justin a lot and it would be nice if we starting going out and she was always encouraging

me. After a while she and Kevin had broken up. I didn’t know what had caused it and Kevin wouldn’t tell me because he thought she should and she wasn’t budging either. Something seemed really strange because no one was telling me what was going on and I thought it would have to be something serious. It didn’t take me long to put two and two together. They had broken up because she had started talking to his best friend Justin, the same person I told her that I really liked. Nowhere is it written in any friendship manuals anywhere that you aren’t supposed to talk to someone who you know your friend likes but it’s kind of an unwritten rule. Especially if you already have a boyfriend and another guy you’re talking to on the side. The worst part about the situation was the fact that she had lied to me. She told me she wouldn’t talk to him

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
