The company is against consumer activism because it prevents the business from conducting its operations normally. It deems consumer activism as unethical because of its interferers between the business and the consumer, hindering the regular running. Consumer activism appears as a way `of boycotting the operations of a business and the products as well as services that it offers (Etzioni, 2018 p. 10). Therefore, the company does not support consumer activism because sometimes the consumers are not conscious of what it means to businesses. Though it helps to encourage transparency in price, it does not have positive impacts on the operations of a business. Conclusion Business ethics is essential in a business. It guides the operations of a company by defining what is right and wrong in a business. The business should be guided by the operations of the consumers because they are the primary stakeholders in a business. Business ethics defines how employers and employees should relate to enhancing the effectiveness of business operations. Apple Inc. is an excellent example of a company that practices ethics in business. The company focuses on improving the experiences of the consumers by providing them with an
