Strength Training still one of the biggest taboos in relation to health related quality of life, however, while some say that it is dangerous for most people to do it, the number of participants in this physical activity keeps growing. When well developed, a structured weight training in hands with physical conditioning programs can reduce pain and also prevent the normal physiologic decline associated with aging. These two factors already show that both young and elderly should be doing this physical activity for improve in their quality of life. Parents believe that strength training is dangerous for their children and that it may stagnate their growing, but researches already proved that a well-designed program will help improve a child’s fitness and in most cases even strengthen their bones and muscles. And talking about stronger muscles, they can release some stress from the heart, in a way that can improve quality of life for people with mild and moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and also for individuals with multiple sclerosis.
