Date Calculations in the Conditions List Workflow Monitor considers both date and time when evaluating a workflow policy condition that performs a date comparison. CURRENT can be used when a value is entered for a date comparison. The following format can be applied for using CURRENT: CURRENT [+/-] d:h:m where: d represents the day h represents the hour m represents the minutes For example, CURRENT + 01:02:03 is the value in CURRENT plus one day, two hours, and three minutes. You can use CURRENT in the comparison value for date fields. You can also use CURRENT when you define the activation and expiration dates for a broadcast message action. You can view these policies as groups in the Siebel client by navigating to the Administration-Business Process screen, then the Policy Groups view. To view groups of predefined workflow policies for messaging 1 In the Siebel client, navigate to the Administration-Business Process screen, then the Policy Groups view. 2 Choose Siebel Messaging in the Name column. The messaging policies are displayed in the Policies list. Configuring a Predefined Workflow Policy for Messaging You can use a predefined messaging policy to display a message in a pop-up dialog box in the Siebel client. For example, the predefined Messaging Policy Send Screen Pop for Activity can be used to display a pop-up dialog that informs the end-user of a new activity.
