In Napa there are several employment opportunities in the immediate area. In- n-out burger there was a sign posted on the drive thru window for employment opportunities. Target had a sign on their entrance door for employment of opportunities. Part-time and full-time employment opportunities are available on the city of Napa website. The city of Napa offers part-time job opportunities which include park maintenance, facility attendant, lifeguard, swimming instructor, and youth and adult sports ( ). In the immediate area business include OLE health center, Napa Shelter, Napa Community College, Napa State Hospital, Theater, an auto mall, retail stores, and grocery stores. ● Transportation How to people get from one place to another? Is public transportation available? How timely is it? Personal autos? Bikes? Walking ? Napa residents are able to get from one place to another by personal autos. Napa residents are able to travel within the City of Napa, by transit services Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) and primary transit The Vine. The Vine offers fixed route bus service as well as variety of choices for bus trip options with maps and schedules. ( ). The Vine runs on a timely schedule. The bus system connects Napa County to the rest of the Bay Area with service to BART, the Vallejo Ferry, the Fairfield-Suisun Transit Center, and the Suisun Train Station. Napa Valley's Vine bus 29 to the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station. Capital Corridor Amtrak is available. The ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco ( ). The residents of Napa are able to ride their bikes. I observed several residents riding their bikes as well as walking on the Napa Valley Vine Trail. 4465-5_19

What is the majority ethnic group represented? Describe the distribution of gender, approximate ages, single families, multiple families, generational families ? The majority racial group represented in Napa are Caucasian and Hispanics. I observed a well proportion distribution of female and male gender within Napa. I observed a mixture of young children, young adults, single families, multiple families as well as generational families. ● Cultural Characteristics What cultural similarities or differences do you observe? Languages spoken? Clothing? Ethnic eating places? Culturally-based celebrations? Signs in languages other than English ? I observed cultural similarities of family importance and togetherness. I did not observe any cultural differences. Languages spoken include English and Spanish. Ethic eating places include the Oxbow Market, Las Palmas Mexican seafood and tacos, El Rancho Grande, farmers market which offers Napa residents several ethic food choices. Culturally-based celebration that I observed was pride. Signs in languages other than English that I observed were in OLE Health Center which signs were in Spanish.
