Labeled illustrations can be helpful. DATA Your data must be presented clearly in a format that is appropriate for that type of data such as labeled drawings, data tables and/or graphs. Rules for each are given below. Data Tables : Present your data in a neat, well-organized data table. Your data table must include the following: Title (DV) as a Function of (IV) Column headings – include the name of the variable and the unit, where appropriate. IV on the left, raw DV on the right. Often data collected during the experiment (raw data) is used to obtain values (processed data) necessary to answer the problem question. These calculated values are listed in column(s) to the right of the raw DV. A sample calculation for each type of processed data must be included under the data table.
