There are different variables that affect the implementation of new technology (Talukder, 2012). The first variable is the employees’ preparedness. Before a new technology is launched, it is required that the employees are subjected to training that will enable them to implement the new technologies appropriately. Another variable that plays an important role in the adoption of the new technology is the structure of the executive and administration. This variable refers to the willingness of the top executive and the management to accept and be willing to support the new technologies. The executive plays an important role in determining the financial and human support to be offered to the project (Talukder, 2012). If the new technology receives support from the executive, then the implementation of this project would be successful.

ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGY 6 Another factor that affects how the new technology can be implemented is the involvement of the stakeholders in the deployment of technology. It is no doubt that our organization does not operate in isolation but conjunction with other stakeholders such as the distributors of products and even the consumers. These stakeholders have a bold say in determining the implementation of the new technology (Schilling, 2010). If the stakeholders offer a supportive hand in implementing the new technology then the chances of success are likely to be high. the organization can also ensure that the adoption of technology is smooth by overcoming some of the challenges that hinder its implementation. In our case, for example, we will have to do serious research to understand the market situation before implementing it. Once we have understood the market, the next step would be to ensure that fix our culture into a dynamic culture that adopts and implement the new technology. Additionally, we will have to ensure that we engage all our stakeholders and our management too to ensure that the adoption of the new technology is smooth.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
