So now my questions are how do you still find times for everything when other important things dominate that time? Sherrod states “Creating a detailed schedule plan and, more important, adhering to it, and scheduling in time for contingencies, can improve your chances of success” (2013, pg.44). Sherrod also talks about how when attending an online program, the online learner must “prioritize among work, family, and education responsibilities, which can be challenging” (2013, pg. 45). By trying to do these two things it will allow me to prioritize my time and ensure I can focus my attention to getting things done when needed. I have also set up a meeting with a friend that has a similar work/home situation that just finished Walden and passed her PMHNP boards, to discuss what worked for her and how to manage when things come up. Writing is another one of the main concerns that I have. Though I completed my whole BSN program online I often struggle with my writing and APA. I feel like I should know what I am doing by now but still need to pull out my APA book for every paper. I ask over and over how can I get better at this and not have so many mistakes.
