preventing growth of other plant’s seeds. This is an example of leaching. 4) Conifer extract will inhibit the germination of a rye seed and inhibit the growth of radish. 5) I would have a total of four growth pots. Two of which would contain rye seeds and the other two would contain the radish. Then of one of the rye seed pots and one of the radish pots would contain conifer seed extract which would then be put into the soil. The other rye seed pot and radish pot would not contain this extract within the soil. I would then grow the plants over a three week period of time in which careful measurements of the stem and leaves and number of leaves will be taken. The controls for this experiment would be that each plant would receive the same pot, soil and amount of water it receives. Also all plants would receive the same amount of sunlight and would be grown in the same climate. 6) The native plants that would survive against the allelopathic chemicals of the introduced exotic species would be able to reproduce. Thus the gene that allowed them to survive

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
