new trends and popular culture that will cement a name into history such as a famous player like Michael Jordan. He is known across the world for his clothing and shoe brands as well as his god like performance on the court. This can lead to sponsors and companies getting their name and label on a building or blowing up internationally. Some of the drawbacks can be considered to be overcrowding and extreme commercialization of the sport which would see the impact and effectiveness of any sport lessen. There can also be increases in crime and corruption in and around events, terrorism, and isolation of large populations of people, cultures or countries. “The Olympics hold a long history of boycotts, violence, and signs of progress” (Holmes, 2015). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
