on the topic.Step 2: Summary of AnalysisWrite a 2- to 3-paragraph summary that you will add to your Academic Success and Professional Development Plan that includes the following: oClearly and accurately describe in detail your approach to identifying and analyzing peer-reviewed research.oClearly identify and accurately describe in detail at least two strategies that you would use that you found to be effective in finding peer-reviewed research.oProvide a complete, detailed, and specific synthesis of at least one resource you intend to use in the future to find peer-reviewed research.oIntegrate at least one outside resource and 2-3 course specific resources to fully support your summary.I chose the article Nutritional psychiatry research: an emerging discipline and its intersection with global urbanization, environmental challenges and the evolutionary mismatch (Logan & Jacka, 2014). I have a great interest in how urbanization and mass-produced, genetically modified food negatively affects mental health, so this article was a great find for me. I found this article by navigating to the Walden Library then used the database A-Z search option (Walden University, 2019). I used both EBSCO and BMC to search for my topic. I navigated to

the BMC database and in the search box and used the key words mental healthand nutrition. Although there were many to choose from, I chose this article because the content is very closelyrelated to my interests and it was published within the last 10 years. I found BMC to be very easily navigated and retrieved many choices. Part IV ConclusionI would recommend this database to anyone searching for peer-reviewed, scholarly articles. I do think, however, that BMC has a little less refined search when compared to EBSCO. I have used EBSCO as my primary search tool in the past when searching for an article while completing mybachelor’s degree, so it may be that this is just one I am more used to using. I wanted to expand the databases that I am comfortable with using, so for this assignment, I decided on BMC. I used the article Simplifying Synthesis (Shellenbarger, T., 2016), to help guide me and pull all of the available information together.

Week 5 | Part 5: Professional DevelopmentWeek 5 | Part 5: Professional DevelopmentI have developed a curriculum vitae to capture my academic and professional accomplishments to date. I have also developed a statement identifying one or more professional development goals, and a statement proposing how I might align one or more of these professional development goals with the University’s emphasis on social change. The results of my efforts are below.
