escape from that environment. In a macro level the issue is that children are not being taught in school how serious human trafficking is. Human trafficking is a large network, it is occurring everywhere in the world. School institutions need to inform the children the danger that the world poses. The education system is vital, it provides students with the knowledge that may not be provided at home. It is important and necessary for teachers to play a role in the student’s life. Another macro level is that students from public school and rural areas are more in danger for human trafficking. School is an environment where students have to live through bullying and violence. On a micro level is the friends that the student obtains. Some individuals claim to be your friends but are actually there to harm you or influence you in the wrong direction. Human traffickers search for naïve individuals.
A solution to social problems within the education institution is for teachers to provide information to the students about social problems. It is important to teach student how to solve social problems. Students should also be taught the harm they can cause others from any form of discrimination. The education system needs to aim to have advances and authentic student learning. Historical solutions that were proposed in the past is equal educations where all students of all races and ethnicities were permitted in school but there was still the troubling gap in the quality of education. Individuals that are wealthy are less likely to experience social problems such as racial discrimination. References Sankey, D. (2008).
