Step 2: Professional Development GoalsMy professional development goals include maintaining a high GPA throughout the MSN program, passing state boards after graduation and becoming certified as an FNP. After completion, I would love to work in a family practice office and provide high quality care to patients across their lifespan. Step 3: Alignment with Social ChangeWalden states that “Walden supports positive social change through the development of principled, knowledgeable, and ethical scholar-practitioners, who are and will become civic and professional role models by advancing the betterment of society.” (Walden University, 2011, para. 6.) This statement correlates with my professional goals to provide high quality care to patients. With Walden’s help I will havethe tools and education to better serve my community after graduation.
