Assignment: Course Reflection (See TRACS-Assignments for Instructions) All students will submit a Course Reflection at the end of the semester on their progress and learning in this course. EXERISES Exercises (See TRACS-Assignments for Instructions) Exercises are meant to expand on in-class topics and discussions or are WEB sites to visit that will introduce you to resources that are helpful. Exercises must be submitted through TRACS-Assignments and are due on the assigned due date. Some exercises may require a WEB search. FORUMS (SEE TRACS-FORUMS) General Course Questions : Post any question(s) or concerns of a general nature that you may have about an assignment, exercise, or technical issues to this forum. By posting questions you may have will benefit all students in the class as others may have the same question. Also, you can use this forum to celebrate your personal accomplishments, encourage each other, post inspirational quotes, videos, etc. FINAL EXAM The final exam is comprehensive and scheduled for a specific date. It will be a timed exam of two and one half hours. It will be composed of multiple choice and short answer questions . The Final Exam will 3 – Syllabus – Sociology 3384H – Spring

open at 7 a.m. and close at 11 p.m. The instructor will need to grade the short answer questions so do not panic when you complete the exam and see only an automatic recorded grade as that grade will only include the multiple choice questions that TRACS can grade automatically. See Course Calendar below for exam date and open/close time. GRADEBOOK (SEE TRACS-GRADEBOOK) Grades for all assignments, exams and papers will be posted no later than 5 days after the due date. Grades will not be given out over the telephone or via e-mail (See Grade Distribution below). Students are responsible for checking their grades on a regular basis and notifying the instructor in a timely manner if there appears to be a discrepancy between what the student believes his/her grades should be and what is posted. Grade discrepancies must be resolved prior to the last week of class. IN CLASS LECTURES This is a hybrid course and will meet once a week (See Course Calendar for class meeting dates). An “In Class Lecture Outline” will be distributed each week in class for note taking and quiz/final exam information to study.
