As far as brand loyalty retention, it is really a challenging thing to do because I have to prove to my customers over and over again the fact that I offer better quality and service than the rest of my competition. In addition, from the business point of view, it is often cheaper to keep a current customer then get a new one, so it is in the interest of most companies to keep their brand loyalty alive and well. Various research show that the main 4 factors that affect customer brand loyalty are customer service, quality of the product/service offered, price and speed (how long did a customer have to wait to get a response, how long does shipping take, etc.). So the main things companies need to do is have high quality customer support, customer loyalty programs (most consumer adore the idea of getting exclusive perks, receiving free stuff and a simple yet overlooked concept – customers want to feel valued and appreciated.
