way species reproduce can change and evolve so they can adopt to their environment. Only the best method wins that would be transmitted to the next generation. After years these two groups may not be able to interbreed due to the same changes in their genes. According to Assya Ba, "two different and isolated animals like dogs and wolf can interbreed because they were part of the same species. They became 2 different species because of variations and the genetic changes that have occurred within the species. They share many similarities, they both have 78 chromosomes and are part of the same genus, Canis. The geographical and behavioral isolation created by the humans by domesticated the dogs have made them diverged from one another. It became complicated for them to interbreed but without the isolations and boundaries they would interbreed due to the fact that dogs are descended from wolfs, therefore they are the same species", Assya suggested that the reason dogs and wolfs can still interbreed is the fact that Dogs are descendent from wolfs. It is true that because of human domestication dogs and wolfs diverge from one another. Due to geographical changes and human influences dogs may change and mute genes that differed them from wolfs. However, if they

have a chance to interbreed they can still have fertile offspring. This is due to the fact that they are still too similar and both have 78 Chromosomes. I agree with Assya that dogs are from same species as wolfs and are still similar and can interbreed. The reason behind their specification is human domestication and it's not mainly because of geographical isolation. I think dogs and wolfs specifications needs more geographical isolation and time span so they both can evolve separate methods of reproduction. In this case they might not be able to interbreed.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
