occasionally, this is somewhat a nuisance and is very unsafe to the rest of society. Establishments will sell alcohol to drunk patrons as it increases their revenue, I don’t think that will change if the drinking age should be lowered. Twenty one is the age of most guiding rules for a lot of things, for example: buying a handgun, renting a car, gambling in a casino (in most states) to name a few, why should alcohol consumption be any different? While I agree that a teen becomes an adult at the age of 18 and I will admit that some are quite mature at that age but, we can also agree that some are very immature as well, therefore adding alcohol would just worsen the level of maturity (ProCon.org). I have a daughter that is 19 years old, whom is a current drivers license holder and I would not be happy with the thought of her drinking at that age. She needs to be able to become an expert in driving before even thinking about drinking alcohol in my opinion.
