But As there is obstruction of the public lawn the only option left is wireless connection. There are many wireless system like VSAT communication, which uses the satellite for transmission and dishes installed on the roof of workstation and computer house. But we have to look from the perspective of cost , extendability , security etc, Costwise its very expensive and only those require higher security and big companies that can afford the high bills monthly without compromising security this might be the

option. And in terms of extendibility the signal can be carried without interruption to longer distance like from Chicago to Losangeles. Another solution be like Terrestrial microwave system like offered by Pronet that can transfer voice, high volume of data , video conference, high resolution of pictures at higher speed and can cover up to 15 miles of distance , which is more than sufficient for our requirements. This option is relatively cheaper than VSAT. It might be costlier in initial purchase of equipment’s but after that only maintenance fee is required. So I recommend Microwave system for the communication between computer and workstation located in another building. References Curt M.
