having her voice heard, and not getting what she wants. Dee had a few more areas that needed work than the others. The two most dominant were her lack of control over her emotions and lack of focus. I will be pursuing these areas with her to ensure these weaknesses are not related to job or work environment issues and if they are then we will address the issues. Chris feels underutilized for his abilities and in turn is often stagnant at work, which is not productive for him or the company, he also acts before he thinks and regrets some of those decisions. I feel the characteristics shown by the assessments for these three team members are very positive for the company. The strengths largely outweigh the weaknesses, and the weaknesses that were shown are ones that can be easily worked on and used as learning experiences to strengthen these team members in the

WEEK 1 & 2 LEARNING TEAM SUMMARY 3 company. I have no doubts Lysa, Dee, and Chris will be strong, loyal, and productive members of this team. Additional assessments that could improve our knowledge of our team members and assist in further training and corrective action could include assessments focused on specific skill sets, job suggestion test, and Meyer Briggs personality test. With these assessments we can get a better grasp on who will be successful in specific positions. The assessments are not meant to make final decisions but to focus attention on team member’s strengths and weaknesses so we can offer opportunities to those who will have a better success rate according their skills, abilities, and personality traits.
