The lab report should demonstrate your knowledge of the lab and the underlying computer science concepts. In addition, the lab must be able to sufficiently describe what was learned by the execution and completion of the lab. 1. Introduction State the objective of the lab clearly, including your hypothesis, as well as some background material necessary for readers to understand the context of the lab. 2. Description of the lab procedure Describe the experiment that you did and the materials that you used for this particular lab. Be specific enough about the hardware and/or software that you have used as well as the particular steps of the experiments so that someone who has not read the lab assignment can recreate the experiment. Do not include results or conclusions in this section; simply state your methodology and tools. 3. Observations/ Code Many of your lab sheets have questions associated with the lab. Answer each of these questions, with the question copied onto your sheet and the answers in paragraph form. For those labs that do not have questions, state your own observations that you noted as you were doing the lab. For those labs that required the writing of code, incorporate a copy of your code in this section. 4. Results Summarize your conclusion. What you have learned from this lab? Was your hypothesis verified? If you find it necessary to use graphs, charts, tables or figures to illustrate your points, feel free to do so. 5. References Cite any relevant sources (textbooks, websites etc) that you have used with the lab and report.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
