be assigned by teacher’s discretion. Tests/quizzes will be Major Assessments. Homework/Class work is given often and students are responsible for each assignment. Individual homework assignments are worth fifteen points whenever checked by the instructor. Each of the homework/class work assignments will be graded when the notebook is handed in for evaluation. This can be assigned as a Minor Assessment. A class participation grade, which makes up 15% of a student’s marking period grade, will be determined at the end of the marking period. Factors that go into this process include being prepared for class, following the classroom rules, and completing the notebook. Students will be required to keep a notebook for evaluation at the end of both marking periods. This grade will equal two test grades. Factors that go into the evaluation of the notebook include homework/class work, “Do-Now’s,” daily notes, neatness, and organization. Notebooks will be graded twice – Once at the end of the 3 rd marking period and once at the end of the 4 th marking period. This will be a Major Assessment grade. Extra credit may or may not be assigned based on teacher’s discretion.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
