Ascend Communications as VP Sales & Marketing and as a member of the founding team. Following Ascend Mr. Helfrich was a part of the founding team that started Centrum Communications, a remote access company that was sold to 3Com less than one year after receiving venture funding. David remained at 3Com as Vice President of Marketing, and as member of the Operating Committee, until he and seven others spun out from 3Com to start Copper Mountain Networks where he served as VP Sales & Marketing. Earlier in this career, Mr. Helfrich held various sales and marketing roles with Motorola (Codex Division) and Infotron Systems, an early data networking pioneer. David has an M.B.A from the University of California Los Angeles (UC.L.A.) and a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Chico. Casey McGlynn, ESQ – Partner, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Casey McGlynn is a partner at the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and a member of the firm's Policy Committee. His practice focuses on the organization, funding and corporate representation of companies in the information technology, life sciences and telecommunications industries. Casey is a nationally recognized leader in the representation of startup and growth technology companies. He assists his clients in meeting their financing needs through introductions to an extensive network of angel investors, financiers, venture capitalists, corporate partners and investment bankers. He has experience representing dozens of companies that have made successful initial public offerings and secondary offerings. Aside from his responsibilities at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Mr. McGlynn is a Managing Director of Angel Investors LLP. Notably, Angel Investors were the first investors in Google as well as a number of successful technology startups.

Casey is a frequent contributor to magazines and newsletters focused on angel and venture investing and speaker on issues relating to the organization and funding of new ventures. Additionally, he was recognized in the 2005 edition of Chambers USA: America's Top Business Lawyers for "his life sciences, information technology, and telecom expertise." Casey received his J.D. and B.A. degrees, with highest honors, from Santa Clara University. Casey joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in 1978 and has been a member of the firm's executive, nominating and compensation committees.
