government was overreaching their powers without a warrant. We also discussed how the case moved through the lower courts and how it made its way to the Supreme Court. Then we discussed in more detail, the Supreme Court’s decision. Last, we explored how the Supreme Court gained their powers and how their powers impacted the case. The case had the technology sector anticipating the ruling. With the rise in technology and data collection from third parties, the questions will continue to rise, “Where does the individual privacy end and business practices begin”? References
